What is a Log Book Service?

A log book service is a service schedule set by the manufacturer which keeps your vehicle in top condition.

Why do I need a log book service?

A log book service keeps your vehicle in top condition with preventative maintenance, and is also required to keep your statutory new car warranty.

What happens if I miss a Service?

Depending on how far behind your services are, this may negate your statutory warranty. You should service your vehicle as close to the specified 'kms' or 'time' as possible as everything has a certain life span including oils and filters.

Do you have Loan cars and how much do they cost?

We currently do not have a loan car facility but can arrange local drop off and pick up. We hope to off this service soon.

Will I lose my New Car Warranty if I don't go back to the dealer?

You will not lose your new car warranty servicing with us here at Tyrewise Warana as we are fully qualified to service new vehicles. There is no requirement under the Australian Consumer Law for a vehicle to be serviced by an authorized dealer in order for the consumer guarantees and manufacturer’s warranty to apply, provided the service is in accordance with the specified requirements performed by a qualified mechanic or service centre. I have lost my Log Book, do I need it?

Yes, a log book is a great way to keep track of your service history and often Dealers will want to see it, if you have not had your vehicle serviced with them. You can order a replacement Log Book from your dealer.

Do you provide Digital reports for the work you have done? or a digital report of what's wrong with my car?

You will receive a printed copy of the invoice when you collect your vehicle and it will include all the work performed. We can also email it to you. Your report will also detail any items that require attention.

How long will the service take?

Every service is different depending on what is needed and the type of vehicle. Let us know the details of your vehicle and what service you would like to have done when you make a booking and we can give you an estimate.

How much will my service cost?

All service costs vary and will depend on vehicle type and service required.

How can I pay for my Service?

We have EFTPOS facilities, we accept cash and we also offer 'afterpay' finance options.

When are you Open?

Our Warana workshop is open between the hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday. We are not open on weekends.

What is the earliest time I can bring my car in?

You can drop your vehicle in anytime after 8:00am or if you need to drop it off earlier we do have an early bird drop off next to the office.

Can I drop off my car after hours?

If your only option is to drop off your car out of hours please let us know and we will give you details to drop off your keys safely.

Can I collect my car after hours?

Yes you can collect your car after hours, however, you will need to organise this with us when you drop off the vehicle.

Can you pick up my car from home?

By pre arrangement we can pick up your vehicle from home within our local area and if we have staff available to do so.

Can you drop me home when I deliver my car for servicing or repair?

We can drop you back home if it is local to the area.

What happens if something is not right after my car service?

We take great pride in our work, but if something doesn't seem quite right then please bring your vehicle back in and we will do our best to rectify the fault as quickly as possible and you have the added assurance of our REPCO Nationwide Warranty if you find yourself out of town.

Will you give me reminders when my next sercive is due?

We will send an SMS reminder out letting you know that you are due for a service.

Can my car be serviced at the same time it is repaired?

Yes it can be just let us know at the time of the booking.

How do I book in a Service?

You can call one of our friendly staff or book online directly from this page if you prefer.

How often should I really service my car?

Every vehicle is different although the average time is every 10,000 kms.

I don't drive much, do I still need a service?

Servicing your vehicle is not only done on km's but also time. This is because oil life will still deteriorate over time.

Can you fix other things while my car is being serviced?

Yes, you will just need to let us know if you require any other work to be done at the time of booking.

What type of oils and parts do you use?

We use high quality oil and filters that meet and exceed manufacturer specifications.

Do you check my brakes durng a service?

Yes, we check over the entire vehicle and give you a report.
